Two livecams, which were installed by the Internet Center of Soros Foundation, display the greatest buildings in the city: The Cathedral of St. Isaac that is one of the largest cupola constructions in the world and The Peter and Paul Fortress from the Marble Palace of Russian museum.The Peter and Paul Fortress was built in 1703 by Russian tsar Peter the Great before construction of the city itself began.
